February 27, 2026: Our first Spanish-language science outreach article, titled “Microburbujas: del sueño de la bala mágica de Ehrlich a una realidad tangible”, has been published in the journal Avance y Perspectiva of the Cinvestav.

April 27–28, 2026: My undergraduate student, Luis E. Corona-Martínez, participated in the V Congreso Estatal de Materiales (Capítulo Estudiantil de la Sociedad Mexicana de Materiales—Nuevo León), presenting the poster “Efecto de la Arquitectura del Polietilenglicol en la Encapsulación de Doxorubicina en Microburbujas” at CIDET-FIME.
May 29, 2026: Our research team had the opportunity to present our latest project at InnovaFest Monterrey 2026, held at Cintermex, one of the region's premier innovation and entrepreneurship events.
The project focuses on the development of theranostic microbubble technologies for precision breast cancer diagnosis and therapy, integrating molecular imaging and targeted treatment within a single ultrasound-responsive platform.
June 4–6, 2026: Our students, Luis E. Corona-Martínez (Undergraduate Student) and Brayan A. Álvarez Durán (M.Sc. Student) participated in CONITACS 2026 at the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (CIO) in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, where they presented recent findings from our research group.
Luis E. Corona-Martínez presented the poster:

Brayan A. Álvarez Durán presented the poster:
“Caracterización in vitro de microburbujas como plataforma teranóstica dirigida a la integrina αvβ3.”
