Elucidating microbubble–ultrasound interactions and pharmacokinetics to improve in vivo efficacy
Investigation of the mechanical, biological, and biophysical effects induced by microbubble–ultrasound interactions at the cellular and tissue levels, as a function of microbubble physicochemical properties, dosing parameters, and in vivo pharmacokinetic behavior.

Development of ligand-functionalized microbubbles that selectively bind to disease-specific biomarkers using acoustic radiation force, enabling highly sensitive, real-time, and noninvasive molecular imaging.
